It was now October 2015 and whilst I wasn’t running, after some research, I came up with this mad idea to sign up for the Yorkshire Season Pass which is a series of 3 10kms in the summer of 2016….
I pursuaded my wife that this was a good idea and before I knew it we were signed up and no backing out.
The following month, at a works conference, a colleague and I were chatting and decided that we should complete a 10km race for charity so I committed to completing a 10km in April 2016.
So the dilemma now was that I had goals and needed to get back running seriously but had zero motivation and seemed to be going backwards….
I needed another plan of action!
