So after the negativity of the last few weeks and a good talking to by my wife, I sat with Claire yesterday and went through some of my concerns around the plan and I now have an Ali Plan for the wall which I think will help me… lots to do but in a good way which is not necessarily as scary as before.
Before seeing Claire I came up with the idea of running to our local Parkrun and running back to our house (about 16km) as one of our long runs. I’d had this idea before as a goal but this time, we had a date in mind. A quick chat with Claire and she’s up for it too 😀
In a way is an ideal long run as there are natural breaks to stretch etc.
So it sets and I have 8 weeks to get ready for it 😀
