March Challenge ✅

Due to illness my March challenge (volunteer twice at Parkrun) was pushed back to April, but I’m chuffed to bits to say I volunteered at Jnr Parkrun on Sunday in High Wycombe and I think it was my best volunteering experience….

My brother in law is one of the run directors so when we said we were visiting it made sense for us to volunteer. I did barcode scanning and whilst there’s not necessarily an orderly queue the kids were polite and seemed to love the running, not so some of the parents who are struggling to keep pace with the children 😀

I volunteered along with my wife, niece, nephew, sister and son in law and maybe this is why it felt so good but in reality you don’t see them that much. 

For anyone thinking of volunteering definitely add a Jnr Parkrun to your list…. it’s so good I’m trying to volunteer this Sunday at my local one 😀
